Independent Work Permit
It is a special type of permit designed to support entrepreneurship for foreigners in Turkey who wish to work on their own behalf and at their own expense, without being employed by an employer.

Evaluation Criteria
Under the International Labor Policy, factors such as the foreign national’s level of education, professional experience, the contribution of the investment to the economy, and the potential for job creation are carefully reviewed by the Ministry.
3+ Exemption Opportunity
For foreigners who have legally resided in Turkey for at least 5 years or are married to a Turkish citizen, the process of obtaining an independent work permit can be completed more easily thanks to certain exemptions.
