Family Residence Permit

Who Is Eligible?
A family residence permit allows "Destekleyici" (a Turkish citizen or a foreign national with a valid permit) to:
- To his foreign spouse,
- To a foreign child under the age of 18 who is either their own or their spouse’s,
- It may be provided to a dependent child of the individual or their spouse who is over 18 years of age.
Requirements for Supporters
Sufficient Income
Total income must not be less than the minimum wage, and the per-capita income of the family must not be less than one-third of the minimum wage.
Health Insurance
They must have valid health insurance that covers all family members.
Criminal Record
The applicant must not have been convicted of any crimes against the family unit within the last 5 years.
Address Registration
You must be registered in Turkey's address registration system and have a current address.
Required Documents
For the Sponsor
- Copy of ID card / passport / residence permit.
- Proof of income (pay stub, bank statement, etc.).
- Criminal record (e-Government).
- Proof of residence (address registration).
- Copy of the population registry.
- Health insurance policy (covering the entire family).
For a Foreign Spouse/Child
- Application form.
- Original passport and a photocopy of it.
- 4 biometric photos.
- Marriage certificate (for spouse—notarized and apostilled).
- Birth certificate (for the child—notarized and apostilled).
