Foreign personnel granted work permits under this document may not, pursuant to Law No. 3458 on Engineering and Architecture, be employed within the borders of the Republic of Turkey under the titles of engineer, architect, or urban planner, cannot practice their profession by signing documents, cannot vote using these titles, and cannot affix their signatures.
A foreign national granted a work permit under this document may not practice law in Turkey pursuant to Article 3 of the Lawyers’ Law No. 1136.
This document has been issued pursuant to Law No. 2527 and will become valid upon registration with the relevant professional association.
This document is valid only when accompanied by a Validation Certificate issued by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, which makes the licenses of foreign pilots and technicians valid in Turkey.

The foreign national granted a work permit by this document may not practice veterinary medicine in Turkey pursuant to Article 2 of the Veterinary Medicine Law No. 6343.
The foreign national granted a work permit under this document may not practice dentistry in Turkey in accordance with Law No. 1219 on the Practice of Medicine and Related Professions.
The foreign national granted a work permit under this document may not practice the profession of captain within Turkish territorial waters in accordance with the Cabotage Law No. 815.
When applying for a work permit extension, it is mandatory to demonstrate one’s contributions to the national economy and the employment of the local workforce in one’s capacity as a company partner, and to fulfill all obligations under national law.
Foreign nationals granted a work permit under this Document must be employed in accordance with Article 71 of the Labor Law No. 4857 and the provisions of the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles for the Employment of Child and Young Workers, which was issued pursuant to that article; and should any violation of these provisions be detected, the necessary legal and administrative sanctions will be imposed.
If circus companies are on tour in Turkey, they are required to submit a list of their foreign staff to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management offices in the provinces where they will be performing.
A work permit issued to a foreign national with UK Applicant or Conditional Refugee status does not serve as a substitute for a residence permit.
This work permit is valid only when accompanied by an Entry Permit Certificate obtained from the relevant Free Zone Directorate in accordance with the Free Zones Law No. 3218.
Work permits issued to foreign doctors will become valid, pursuant to Article 7 of Law No. 6023 on the Turkish Medical Association, provided that the doctor registers as a member of the relevant medical association within one month at the latest.
A foreign company partner or owner who has been granted a 6 (six)-month work permit to verify the employment status at the workplace must employ at least 5 (five) Turkish citizens at the workplace each month during the validity period of this permit. Otherwise, the request for an extension of the work permit will not be granted.
When applying for an extension of a work permit for a foreign employee working under an employment contract, it is necessary to document that foreign national’s contributions to the company that issued the permit, as well as to our country’s economy and employment.
With this work permit, the foreign national may not practice medicine.
A foreign company partner or owner who has been granted a work permit is required to employ at least 5 (five) Turkish citizens at their workplace each month; however, this requirement does not apply during the first six months. This condition must be met starting from the 7th month of the work permit period. A foreign company partner or owner whose work permit has been extended must employ at least 5 (five) Turkish citizens at the workplace every month throughout the entire permit period. Otherwise, the request for a work permit extension will not be granted.
Pursuant to Paragraph 4 of Article 28 of the Regulation on the Implementation of the International Labor Force Law, foreign nationals holding indefinite work permits must renew their work permit documents every five (5) years, effective as of the permit’s start date. Applications for renewal must be submitted within six (6) months prior to the expiration of the five-year period and, in any case, before the period expires.
This work permit is valid only in conjunction with a “Business Establishment and Operation Permit” obtained from the competent authority in accordance with the provisions of the “Regulation on Business Establishment and Operation Permits.”
A valid passport must be presented for any subsequent work permit applications filed on behalf of a foreign national.
A work permit issued to a foreign national with temporary protection status does not serve as a residence permit.
