This calculation tool is intended solely for informational and preliminary assessment purposes. For applications for long-term residence permits, the precise calculation of days and the evaluation of entry and exit records, Document review and the final decision are made by the Presidency of Migration Management and the relevant Provincial Directorate of Migration Management. This calculation does not imply a definitive right to apply or definitive eligibility.
What does this pre-qualification test check for?
- •Whether you have met the requirement of 8 years of uninterrupted legal residence in Turkey
- •Whether the time you spent abroad exceeded the stay limits (6 consecutive months, 180 days within a one-year period, or a total of 365 days over the past 5 years)
- •Whether you have valid health insurance or SGK coverage
- •Whether you have ever been subject to a deportation order in the past
- •Whether your passport contains a restriction code
- •Whether your residence permit application was previously denied or not
- •Whether your residence permit has been revoked or not
- •Whether there is anything negative on your criminal record
The test result is This is a preliminary assessment; the outcome of the official application depends on the Migration Directorate’s review of the file. A “Seems suitable” result does not mean the application will be accepted, nor does a “Detailed review required” result mean you cannot apply.
